I've spent the past three hours trying to grok UserTalk. I want write a macro that drives the "Current Book" thing on the right-hand side. I want to create a page that has a very simple form: a field for the book's title, the URL, and the image URL. I then want to be able to post the form and update the fields. I'm sure it's a very simple operation, but I'm having the damndest time groking the "Object Database" concept. Maybe I'll try again another time.

UserTalk Help: Global variables are those that are permanently stored in the Frontier Object Database and have cell addresses there. Frontier's global variables are also "persistent," i.e. they retain their value even after the script finishes. That's great. Now, how do I create one?

Ashcroft sez to statue 'Cover that tit!'. Attorney General Ashcroft has ordered the Justice Department to cover with draperies the single bare breast of the female statue Spirit of Justice which stands in the Great Hall at the Justice Department. [kuro5hin.org] I hope this is a joke; I don't think it is.
