Talk about ridiculous. Um, anyone noticed that Linux exposes the entire source code (so does FreeBSD and OpenBSD), and has far fewer exploits against it.
You could argue that's just because Microsoft is a bigger target, but there's no way you can argue that "security through obscurity" is better than security through public review. The opposite has been proven many times over.
