Chris Pirillo links to a link pointing to a firmware for Linksys' wireless AP that retains SNMP management plus fixes other problems. SNMP? Does that mean my Linksys cable modem router is vulnerable to the SNMP problem? Time to dig. CERT has nothing in the vendor section. It looks like my Linksys AP uses SNMP, but I don't think the Cable/DSL Router does.

Sports writers have to get past the amount of talent on the Canadian Olympics hockey team. Certainly the team is loaded with a ton of individual talent, but the last time I looked, hockey was a team sport. All-star teams only succeed in exhibition events, they don't succeed in real competitive environments. That's because teams require stars and roll players. Where is Team Canada's equivalent to Kris Draper or Darren McCarty? You won't find it. And despite the talent that is on Team Canada, I think they are really lacking in one important area: speed.
