Radio Userland 8.0
 
 When I was trying to upgrade to Radio Userland 8.0 yesterday but my internet connection was shut down everytime I tried to upgrade. More than 4 hours later I stopped. After restarting I noticed that a lot of data was missing from my radio userland folder. It was gone. Offcourse I didn't had made a backup, so I decided to install Radio Userland the normal way.
 It's very cool, here is <a href="http://radio.weblogs.com/0100637/">my radio.weblog</a>! I don't have much time for it now because I have some exams next week. I don't know why but I start to become more and more enthusiastic about it. Maybe more about that later, now I have to focus on school!

I still haven't figured out what kind of system I would like to purchase! A laptop or a desktop computer and offcourse wich operating system! I was thinking of buying a apple, but I had some doubts. I wanted a laptop, so I was looking for an ibook, a tibook is much too expensive. But two things made me doubt; the 12.1 inch screen and the G3. I'ts gonna be my only computer.

When apple came with the new imac I was confused. I really like the new machine, it has everything; great screen, G4, large HD, Superdrive ect. HeÈ I wanted a laptop remember! A laptop gives you more freedom, you can work where you like, specially with Radio.userland. You can check the news in the morning, checking emails while you having breakfast.

Most people advice me not to buy an apple and some of them are far more experienced with computer than I am. They say they are expensive a lot of software troubles (sometimes ISP don't even support OSX) So they advice me a Windows Desktop or laptop.

Conculsion: I have still no idea what I want to buy. A laptop of desktop and wich operating system? Any ideas or opinions? Please shoot me an email! (nkoek@wanadoo.nl)

From now until I turn it off all my posts will be mirrored on the Manila site. This is a big feature request. How will I get Radio 8 to work with Manila. And as an extra bonus it should work with services that support the Blogger API, which includes, of course, Manila and Blogger. [Dave's Handsome Radio Blog!]
