The joys of an Australian summer. Last night while I was cooking dinner, there was a knock on the front door. It was an elderly man carrying a box of mangoes.

I told him that I didn't really need any and he turned away to leave. I felt bad about refusing someone who was trying his best. I bought some mangoes and this is the first one I'll eat.
