Back after waiting to see if Lawrence Lee could recover the rest of my stuff and attache it to my root; I don't think it was a success, but thanks again for trying. This was after my hard drive crashed without my having backed up my Radio root. I was using my Blogger account in the interim.
Bought a new camera: Canon PowerShot A95. It has replaced my Olympus 2500. I think I took close to 20,000 pictures with the Olympus and I think it was beginning to drop some of its pixels. Also I could not buy new 64 meg Smart Media cards, that being the maximum size it would take. I am not sure if it was the camera's light handling mechanism or it was the cards. I have three, but I think the in and out of the camera and the in and out of the Smart media readers was beginning to take a toll on them. I was getting more frequent no card errors and I would have to rub the contacts and push it in and out until it was recognized.
Besides being newer, faster and more pixels (5.0 mega pixels) it is lighter and smaller. I tis easier to carry around as it fits in my coat pocket.
On a walk today on 33rd or 32nd Street between Fifth and Madison Avenues a sign of diversification at one location.
