Maps, maps and more maps

I was looking around for maps of various Eastern European countries yesterday and stumbled onto the mother lode: the Perry-Castañeda Library Map Collection at the Univerity of Texas Library.

Among what seems to be hundreds (if not thousands) of local maps and lots of links to external maps, my favorite is this PDF map of the world (it has lots of detail including basic relief information, country outlines and names and the major cities). Blow it up to about 200% and explore!
