Update After nearly a month of sporadic attempts, my Radio installation has began working again. I wish I knew what I did, or didn't, do this time, apart from the other times. Twenty-nine root updates and who knows how many entires in the aggregator await. In the interim, Ian has turned 11 months old, I have become relatively facile with Mac OSX, and am attempting to relearn how to read for my own enjoyment. Ian's maternal Grandmother has just celebrated her birthday and we look forward to a family gathering for Ian's first birthday on 21 October. I'm still surprised by joy on a daily basis by that little boy, though it seems his tiny babyhood has passed with the speed of a freight train and we now teeter on bipedalism, much to the chagrin of the cat. I now understand why so many ooh and ah at the tiny ones, for I have joined their ranks. I spend most evenings with Audrey and Ian these days as I resolve to be the best Dad and husband I can be. Later in the evening I enjoy reading whatever you all have written out there on the web as well as the emails you have sent. We shall pick this up blogging thing again, though it shall be fitful for the next little bit and may well merge with the other one using a different tool. Presently, I am besieged with what I hope is only the consequences of of post-nasal drip and has not gone into a sinus infection which, in me at least, typically passes into bronchitis. I stayed home from work today and may tomorrow again. I miss having my hands in that 1,200 year old pithouse we are excavating, though I do not particularly miss attending yet another meeting concerning some organizational detail. Still, I suspect my friends and coworkers would be amused with the episode of 'Barry White-itis' as my voice drops several octaves when my sinuses turn on me like this. Thanks for reading. Update to 'update': This went through the aggregator, but did not appear on the web site this morning, even after several 'publish weblog home page' requests.
