Wherein we learn of Howard's mind Jon Udell's Zope Lessons LearnedIt's taken me a long time to get comfortable with some of Zope's basic idioms. Maybe passing a few of them along will help you ramp up more quickly. Here, then, are a few of the lessons I've learned along the way.Undo -- who'da thunk it.What do I love about Zope? I love that when I get a frantic email saying that our jobs listing pages for Washington and Oregon are broken, I can (after restarting Zope and Apache and PostgreSQL) to no avail, check the undo log and notice that there were several bulk deletes in the career folder. And he made them. I've written some code to log all of the site's errors, and there are over 7,000 entries in there, but I haven't created any reports. I guess I should write something that emails me the top 20 requests with 404 errors in the past 24 hours and past week. Another project! Maybe I should also create something that checks hourly to show the 200/404 ratio.
