NYTimes: Visiting Synagogue, Bush Praises Russian Religious Tolerance

Rabbi Menahem-Mendel Pevzner, 35, a Brooklyn-born American who has been the head rabbi at Grand Choral Synagogue for close to a decade, said Mr. Bush's visit was an endorsement of the revival of the Jewish faith in Russia since the Soviet collapse.

Sondra's parents visited this synagogue just last week on their trip to Russia.
