Arafat denounced Bush's call for a leadership change, saying in an interview with Associated Press Television News he would run in January elections if the PLO leadership agreed.

"They (the United States) have to understand that this is not Afghanistan ( news - web sites) and that they can't change things as they want," he said.

Indeed, it's not Afghanistan. Afghanistan is a soverign nation that used to be run by terrorists. Arafat is the head of a terrorist organization operating within a soverign nation.
