Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 released

Geez, take a day off and the impossible happens! Debian famously adheres to the "it'll ship when it's ready" philosophy. For a server OS, that makes tremendous sense. Since all software takes eons longer than ever anticipated, I fully expected it to take until next year before this release occurred.

As a note of interest, this release is called "Woody" and the last was called "Potato". The next is called "Sarge". Others included "Sid", "Slink", "Hamm", and "Buzz" If you remember that Pixar is a major sponsor of Debian, it all comes clear. The code names are characters from the movie Toy Story.
