Health Service Meltdown From The Starry Plough Feb. 2002For some years now the health service in the six counties has been in decline. The Irish Republican Socialist Party attacked the lack of funding coupled together with the march towards privatisation for the health service meltdown. Waiting lists are growing and staff are coming under increasingly more violent assault by anti-community elements. Staff at Altnagelvin[base ']s A & E department in Derry were caught up in two major violent incidents in the last three months.

Good Court Outcome for Activists Dublin 11 Case 14th February 2002The District Court cases of 8 anti-racism activists concluded in Dublin today. Earlier in the week the cases against 3 activists were dismissed. On Tuesday 3 other activists were convicted and legal doubts surrounded the identities of the remaining 5.
