Defence of nationalist north Belfast continuesMembers of Republican Sinn Féin were on the streets of north Belfast, alongside the nationalist community.
We make no apology for standing shoulder to shoulder with the people who have faced a combined force of Brit occupation forces and loyalism.

Sinister Threat To Protestant Workers Dismissed From The Starry Plough Feb. 2002A caller purporting to come from the Irish National Liberation Army threatened workers at Marks and Spencer's distribution centre in Mallusk following the loyalist killing of postman Danny McColgan. The IRSP immediately assertained the true facts, although sure in the knowledge that the INLA do not phone people up to threaten them, got assurances that the INLA were not involved in this.

What Price American Values? Tommy Gorman 20/02/2002The letter from David Blankenhorn et al hardly amounts to a robust defence of American imperialism. I detect nothing new. Quotes and hopes from some 'founding fathers' compound a list of aspirations. The use of the words of Dr Martin Luther King Jr. as an indicator of the well being of American society is, to say the least bizarre. This man fought against accepted American values, values that allowed his people to be enslaved, marginalised, brutalised and murdered. He himself was eventually murdered by a fundamentally sick society that viewed his and his people's struggle as a threat to American Values.
