Wolfe Tone Commemoration Oration by Ruairí Óg Ó Brádaigh June 16, 2002 The annual Wolfe Tone Commemoration was held today in Bodenstown, Co. Kildare, sponsored by the National Commemoration Committee. Led by Republican Colour Parties and marching bands, hundreds of people marched from Sallins Village at 1pm to Wolfe Tone's graveside in Bodenstown Cemetery one-and-a-half miles away. Jaded we were, for weeks, as Fine Gael, Fianna Fáil and Labour reduced the entire campaign to arguments over who had the best economic policy.
