Battle Continues for Asbestos VictimsMany thousands of workers are now to receive compensation following a landmark ruling taken by a number of British law lords. The Court of Appeals ruling was dramatically overturned hailing a victory for long
suffering workers and their relatives who have for years fought the system for compensation. Asbestos victims had originally been denied any form of compensation as they could not prove which employers was actually responsible for illness.

Colombian 3 - What Chance of Justice Sean SmythThe three Irish men arrested last August in Bogotá, after returning from the demilitarised zone, are due to go to trial on the 15th July. Despite what the Colombian and International media claim, there is no evidence to convict Niall Connolly, James Monaghan and Martin McCauly of the principal charge of training the FARC in the use of explosives. Colombian state prosecutors will present one piece of technical evidence and five witnesses.

West Tyrone Sinn Féin Assembly member Barry McElduff says the continued failure of the Parades Commission to address concerns of residents in Newtownstewart and Castlederg over the "yearly nightmare" of the marching season formed the basis of a frank meeting between Sinn Féin representatives and leading officials of the Parades Commission.
