Frankenstein Carrie TwomeyRecently, a local tabloid carried a little
joke made at my family's expense. Whether witty or not, it was very
revealing of the teller, especially that, in choosing this particular horror
story to get a dig at us, and printing it in this tabloid in particular,
known for being a Sinn Fein mouthpiece, the irony of it all seemed
completely lost. [The

Blueshirts yield to the new yellow Reich Robbie MacGabhannDo you
remember the outrage of the nice people who hold democracy dear and last May
objected to the election tactics of Sinn Féin, particularly those nasty
republicans wearing their election T-shirts, cheering raucously and waving
tricolours provocatively. [AP/RN

Nice - the real winners were? Robbie MacGabhannSo, after the Nice
vote, how did it feel waking up in the heart of Europe? While you might not
have felt heart warmed, it was clear that in the 26 Counties the changed
political landscape signalled in May's Leinster House election was even more
crystallised. [AP/RN

This has not stoppedi'm aware that the siege is no longer (not that it
really ever was!!) a main topic on the news but i can assure anyone who
visits this site that the siege, the intimadation and the attacks continue
on a daily and nightly basis. the news section of this site hasn't been
kept up to date as best it should, unfortunatly that is because it has been
incrdibly diffucult to keep the constant attacks up to date! [Short Strand Siege News]
