Class distinction on Limerick train

Class distinction is alive and well and travelling on the 5.20 pm Irish Rail train service from Dublin to Limerick, the local branch of Republican Sinn Féin claimed today.

IRA Volunteer commemorated at Shannonvale

IRA Volunteer Tim Whooley, a Company Vice Captain in the 3rd West Cork Brigade, who died as a result of an accidental shooting near Shannonvale on 27 March 1921, was remembered at the spot where he died in a simple commemoration organised by Clonakilty Sinn Féin Cumann last Sunday. Among those who attended were Tim and Julia Whooley, nephew and niece of the 21-year-old republican, who laid the wreath during the ceremony.

Orange Order's anti-Catholic land deal
