IRA Volunteer commemorated at ShannonvaleIRA Volunteer Tim Whooley, a Company Vice Captain in the 3rd West Cork Brigade, who died as a result of an accidental shooting near Shannonvale on 27 March 1921, was remembered at the spot where he died in a simple commemoration organised by Clonakilty Sinn Féin Cumann last Sunday.
