I guess we saw this coming
Today is Walter Hewlett's last day as a director of Hewlett-Packard, and he won't be around to say goodbye. In fact, when HP shareholders meet this afternoon to elect a new eight-member board, no Hewlett or Packard will be on the ballot -- the first time the founding families have been excluded from the governance of the company since it was founded in 1938.
