Been awhile since I've posted and quite a bit has happened in the last 3 weeks...

Went to New York over labor day weekend.  Saw a lot of family on my dad's side (including my 3 year-old cousin who I hadn't seen since he was 9 days old) and a college friend from U of I.  Having been to New York a number of times, I didn't spend too much time site seeing.  Spent Sunday in the city - stopped by Ground Zero, which was an eye-opener for me, walked through Central Park, and sat in Grand Central Station for a bit.  Grand Central Station is definately a great place to sit, eat, and watch.  There's so many different people going through the place... Monday I went north and spent the day at a Ren Fest in Tuxedo, NY.  Quite fun and overall, I'm really glad I went.

Upon return from vacation, I went back to work to discover I'd been reassigned.  I've worked on the same project for 2 years now and for a few reasons, I was reassigned to another project.  However, the fun part came when I was reassigned again, right before training, then reassigned back, the reassigned again, and finally...reassigned to both.  Whee - it's a seesaw ride.

Anyway...off to do work.  I'd read news but it appears all my subscriptions have disappeared.  I shall have to look at that tonite and figure out what happened.  I'll probably be adding links to things later, but that means downloading pictures from the camera first.
