The English language sucks. I mean, it's great that everybody uses it, but it's not what I would pick out as the Universal Language. It has about 16 vowel sounds represented by a e i o and u - in no particular combination. It has a most irregular set of verbs, a wild variety of group names, etc. Who decided on this standard? :-)
