You have called the humble of the earth to seek You, O Lord, and those who have upheld Your justice to seek righteousness and humility. (Zephaniah 2:3)
This is so true. God does not want us to be arrogant blow-hards, but to seek humility, to learn to do the right thing and not think too much of ourselves.

I hate books. I can scan through dozens of web pages, scores of emails, but I can't change my focus quickly enough to scan a book. I can get through the most difficult reading assignments on my PDA, I can plow through the largest audio books like a knife through butter, but that slip of paper I use for a bookmark moves a few pages into the book and stops on every attempt. I have over one foot of books stacked up next to my bed, books that concerned individuals have suggested I read. Each one has a bookmark near the beginning.
Here they are in no particular order:
All of these books are non-fiction, non-frivolous books. For almost all of them, somebody is waiting in the wings for me to finish it. One of whom is almost in tears, waiting for me to complete certain books.
