via jim.roepcke.com:

Jim's commentary on Brad Cox's Misusing Dynamic Binding When Static Binding would do, Part 1 - Summary: unlike JSPs and it would seem like all other systems out there (PHP, ASP, etc.) WebObjects treates web pages as objects not filenames!

Jim also pointed to part 2 of Brad's article where Brad points to the Java Web Application Architecture (JWAA) that he's developed. This actually looks useful!

I love Jim's site (have browser, will travel) because of both his very Germanic bluntness and his willingness to change his position when given facts to the contrary!

EE Times: Alcatel fields PON to deliver triple play of services. PONs are great, but I think ATM is obsolete. [Hack the Planet] - Yet another PON story, perhaps PONs are coming back to life from the dead state they were in in the late 90s.
