Project ideas
Okay, some of the folks on the pragProg list are starting to talk about a collaborative language design project. I guess it's time for me to flesh
out the design of the "dl" language syntax that I've had percolating for
a few years. Given that it really is just mostly syntax, maybe I should
just give it OCaml semantics and build it with camlp4.
Other worthwhile projects:
- Write some parcels for Chandler
- Get jython up to 2.3 level
- Do a jython plugin for Eclipse
And I've already committed to
- Review the Kirk K. Java/UML book
- Read the "Enterprise Curl" book and present to the BayPIGgies
- Read Paul Graham's "On LISP" and see how well the macro usage
examples in it translate to OCaml/camlp4.
And then there are always a few hidden ones going on.
