Room With a View. I have moved into a new cubicle at our Northbrook campus. I am next to a large window, which is nice, but it overlooks a dumpster and something that looks like a huge diesel-powered UPS and also the shipping dock. Overlooking the shipping dock is not without its merits. Today, for example, I can see that the new Coke® vending machines are here. I have been trying to cut back on Coke;, going for a bottle of water whenever I have the urge to run up to the convenience store. Seeing that big shiny red Coca-Cola® truck with its load of big shiny red vending machines is really tempting me. 9:44:33 AM
