A picture I took of yesterday's raccoon after rescuing it from our pool. The first thing it did was scramble up and over the neighbor's fence, then it just hung there for a while. Drying out, I guess.2:07:17 PM

Translating Words. Word Reference has a language translation tool for Internet Explorer users. It is a context menu add-in that enables one to select a word on any page and ask for its translation into another language. They currently support English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian.
Over the summer I took a conversational french class. Nothing big, just an opportunity to brush up on some of the french lessons I learned 25 years ago when in high school and then college. To augment my learning I've been trying to spend a little time each day reading Le Monde. I have been keeping a French/English dictionary at my desk to refer to. It gets used a lot while I read Le Monde. Having the Word Reference tool at my disposal will prove to be a whole lot faster. Bon chance. 9:18:42 AM
