Information Wants to be Free, but People Still Need to Get Paid

Welcome to what we might call the "front-loaded" economy.  That is: an economy in which most of the expenses involved in providing goods and services are front-loaded in the form of research and development - once the product or service has been designed, it can be provided at a marginal cost at or near zero.

Just in case any of my dozen or so daily visitors are wondering...

I know what sort of look I'm going for - a cascading boxed style that shows the hierarchy of the page. Right now I'm trying to sort out all the tables - I'd like to strip things down to the bare minimum, then build it back up using CSS. Not for any "religious" reasons, but rather because it suits my personality. Or something. Whatever.
