My objection to these retail photo-scanning services is that none offers full-frame scans. Scans of 35mm film are delivered cropped, to fit popular print sizes. Up to a quarter of the 35mm film frame is discarded. When I look through the viewfinder, I compose with the whole frame. —Editor
