Let It Die

Rock 'n roll music should be allowed to die. It's been on life support from commercial interests for a very long time. But it's been brain-dead since about 1976.

The trap-drum kit, the electric guitar and bass, are boring. Nowadays, the kind of sound they make is hackneyed, tired and trite.

Today, rock music is all about protecting your investment.

I don't know what the popular music of the early twenty-first century may be, but it isn't rock. It isn't rap/hip hop either, which is now almost as old, even quaint, as rock.
