Now that all three mobile operating systems support both voice/data networks, the next question facing corporate developers/users and consumers who didn't have to think about the network before is: Which network? Why should the "enterprise" care? VHS vs. Betamax is the wrong analogy. The right one is AC vs. DC. Why should Lou Gerstner care about the underlying technology that powers his lamp? It's a decision for the power generators to make (or, the carriers, in this analogy).
CDMA, like AC before it, is the superior technology. The market will either bear that out or not. |
