Yay! It worked.
Found the problem... there was no title for my post so Radio threw an
error. I switched my Radio setup to support titles and voila.
Now I can carry on with my day.

This is the contents of the trackback table to the previous post:
outbound
urls
http://backend.userland.com/2003/07/16
flChecked true
flPinged false
flSupportsTrackback false
http://backend.userland.com/newsItems/trackback/ping$413
flChecked true
flPinged false
flSupportsTrackback false
Well at least Radio tried to do something... but it seems as though it was unsuccesful.
Ok, i'm having problems with outgoing trackback now. Maybe i'm not doing something right?
I put: http://backend.userland.com/newsItems/trackback/ping$413 in the
URLs to ping box. In theory this post should then popup on this post. But it doesn't and the url doesn't stay in the URLs to ping box :(
EDIT: maybe i'm supposed to put this url: http://backend.userland.com/2003/07/16 in the URLs to ping box?
Steve wants to test out OpenBSD, great choice! I've been running OpenBSD as my router of choice for a little over 2 years now.
Just saw that Steve Kirks helped me out with testing Trackback! Wow that was really nice. Thanks Steve!
Hello Springfield USA from Sherbrooke, QC, Canada :)
Just found out that Radio hasn't been upstreaming my posts because it thought my serial number had expired!
It should really notify the user in a more meaningful way when there is a critical error like that.
Slashdot: posted a link to a great article (pdf, html) by Eben Moglen of the OSDL on the SCO vs IBM / SCO vs Linux mess. Here's a teaser:
I must say that when I first heard that SCO was trying to charge all
Linux users a licensing fee I almost fell out of my chair laughing. I
didn't read much on the subject until it became obvious that the FUD
was actually having an effect. Now I just find the whole saga
painfullly depressing. It is obvious to just about anyone who takes a few minutes to research the facts that SCO has
no evidence whatsoever.
It reminds me of the movie Chicago in reverse, when all else fails: razzle dazzle 'em!
Well I must say that I've been a little slow on updates over the past
few days, but at least I am still on target for my objective of at least one
post per workday!
