It's only a demo, but it's already an enjoyable waste of time. Mix 1 part Civilization with 1 part The Sims, throw in some golf on top of that, and you've got a potent mix (especially until Spring comes around and thaws out this state).
Just figured out a minor annoyance: I like the pound symbol archive link to appear on the same line as my entry, like it does on this one. I've left it alone on all of my entries for January 15th, where it would end up, no matter how much I messed with the template, a good line below.
Turns out it was the WYSIWYG editor. Bastard. Everything I typed was being wrapped around paragraph tags. Couldn't see that in the editor. Figured I might as well stop using the crutch anyway.
Dave and Joel both agree on this editor-in-the-browser thing, although Joel's solution sits unused on my desktop, and Radio (clumsy editor and all) is busy pushing my content to the world.
Al Wasco on The Tyranny of 1024x768: our job is to make things work for people, not to force them to adapt to our wishes.
Names have been changed to protect the innocent (and, more importantly, myself), but we were sold on functionality that doesn't exist, and we're not about to wait until the next version.
Update: turns out is not a limitation of Reporting Vendor Y, but Data Warehousing Vendor Q. Still leaves us with a connectivity/functionality problem that needs to be solved.
