It's a great little alarm clock slash weather station. Really. Love the atomic clock stuff. Except when you're futzing around the back trying to set the alarm a bit earlier, and you change the time zone to EST when your living in Central. Turns that "a bit earlier" into a lot earlier. 6:17:57 AM |

Just poking around a bit. Interesting that if you're running the home version of Windows XP, and you've got an "older" version of Windows Messenger, you can simply change an option in the Tools menu to prevent it from running. But if you've upgraded to version 4.5 or better, the option is gone. You'd need to hack the Registry to disable Messenger. Nice. Can't wait to see what future upgrades to Messenger bring. Since when was an IM client an integral part of the OS? |
