Colorado Springs water one of five finalists at U.S. Conference of Mayors From the Rocky Mountain News, "The U.S. Conference of Mayors completed the first round of its annual City Water Taste competition in Washington, D.C., with Colorado Springs and Arvada placing in the top 15. Five finalists have been chosen, and a winner will be picked June 22-26 in Los Angeles. $15,000 is the amount the winning city will receive. The finalists: Anaheim, Calif.; Colorado Springs; Long Beach, Calif.; St. Louis; Toledo, Ohio.
