Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. We hope you'll be chowing down later with friends and family.

Thanks to Mrs. Gulch for growing so many beautiful flowers and such a bountiful vegetable garden. And thanks for sharing our dream of retiring to the edge of the Colorado Plateau.

Thanks to the Gulch kids for hauling our middle-aged rear end around Coyote Gulch (and environs) this spring. We couldn't have made the hike without your help. You may not understand what that meant to us but it was big to get back to the canyon country.

Thanks to the Colorado Plateau for rising up through the Colorado River system.

Thanks to the Old Bones for all the comradery over the years and thanks to the friends that get together most Fridays for Dining with Don.

Thanks to Apple, Inc. for creating all the cool gear that we wish we could justify buying.

Thanks to Ed Quillen and Guerin Green for giving us a chance to write about water news and issues.

Thanks to all the news organizations in Colorado covering water issues. Coyote Gulch would not exist without your efforts.

Finally, thanks to the readers of Coyote Gulch for your words of encouragement, constructive criticism, links and story ideas. It means a lot to know that many look forward to reading our work each day.
