Mayor Hickenlooper was on the road last night trying to woo sherriff's deputies to support the New Justice Center, according to the Rocky Mountain News [March 22, 2005, "Deputies take mayor to task on jail plan"]. From the article, "...it might not be enough to win union backing for the mayor's proposed $378 million justice center, said Mike Britton, union president. A vote from the membership will be held within two weeks."
