So far we've only found two websites for school board candidates. So there will be only one Gulchie for all races.

Gulchies are awarded for the best use of Internet technology. Here's the post where we first discussed them. Here are the winners for this year's municipal election. Send your comments to coyotegulch [AT] mac [DOT] com.

Say hello to Arturo Jimenez and Tony Curcio.

From The Rocky Mountain News, "Denver Auditor Dennis Gallagher is going to support nine ballot issues this fall that would raise property taxes despite his warning voters two weeks ago that taxes will be going up regardless. Gallagher said Monday he decided to join forces with Mayor John Hickenlooper and other city officials to actively campaign for a 2.5 mill levy and $550 million of bond projects even though he was "a little bit" on the fence about it. But the city's financial watchdog said he's not going to "sugarcoat" the message. 'You can't let people vote blind. They have to be able to know what the full impact is,' he said."
