MLK will be collaborating with SFPL Portola Branch 'Teach Library Extension' and infoBridge teen librarian Marcel T. to do some pretty cool stuff for  National Library Week, Several things we're thinking about:

• Library card issuance and clean up campaign, for students and parents, maybe even a Saturday event.
• Presentation of some work from the the 3 D Library Design Project and the newly formed  "The Ultimate Coast-to-coast Kid-to-Teen Recommended Library Collection" Weblog Project.  
• A mini neighborhood version of the hoped-for Fall 2003 "Librarians and Teachers Mutual Appreciation Night,"  which is will be modelled on the SF Museum of Modern Art's annual Teacher Appreciation Night.
• Lots and lots of book talks in the school, including some kind of contest for best book review or something like that.
