Imagine, if you will, how relevant Borland would become again if Kylix would run under MacOS X? Imagine that? A powerful IDE and language that rivals (and supersedes in areas but not all) the VB IDE available on Windows, Linux AND Mac OS X? Hmmmmmmmm...The problem with Delphi is that I never really got used to Pascal syntax. It's too wordy. VB is probably not wordy enough. No language should give you the "option" of declaring variables. Java is still king. But, my point was really more about Borland anyhow..
Ouch!! 10 ft. Komodo takes a bite of newpaper editor's foot! Interestingly enough, this guy is the husband of Sharon Stone. He was receiving a behind the scenes tour and was inside the dragon's habitat with a zookeeper when the dragon decided to take a bite. Ironically, he was bare-footed at the time. The zookeeper asked him to remove his white tennis shoes because the dragon is typically fed white rats. Perhaps komodo dragons are either color blind or not too particular about food. I'm guessing it's the latter. No way am I getting anywhere near something with that many teeth.
