President's Day at the IMAX
The wife and I went to see Cyberworld 3D yesterday on President's Day. It was showing at our new IMAX theatre. The theatre is co-located with the new Texas State History Museum. It's a shame I don't really care much about Texas history, let alone Amerian history.

You can really see that our elected representatives spent some bank on the place. I would much rather us spend a lot of money on a really nice art museum. Yes, I've been to the Austin Museum of Art, but I wasn't too impressed. Of course, that was just one trip, and I should not be so judgemental. Plus, I live in a state where they make art out of boots, so I guess I should not complain.

Anyway, Cyberworld 3D is worth the ticket price. There are some stunning rendered scenes that will blow your mind! The only disappointment was the ending, which was a coporate add-on to suck in the little kids. The last two segments are some crap from Disney and Fox (Ants and Simpsons, respectively). I think this really spoiled the film, and did not fit at all. As far as I could tell, those scenes were done some time ago and had 3D added after they decided to add it to this film. But, don't let that spoil your fun. It's still worth it. Enjoy!
