Phew. That's enough "work" for now. I cut out 2K of text in my home page template. That's 2K less that you have to download each time you visit and 2K less for each archive day and category page. That can add up over time. Don't you feel slimmer already? Now to propagate that to the category pages. Maybe even go slimmer, then that will affect overall site space usage. Why waste space?

I finally found the procedure to "reboot" my Jetta. It has been refusing to shift again. The last time this happened, I learned that my Jetta had learned to adapt to my driving habits and in its effort to save me gas mileage, refuses to shift down when I am in a hurry. This procedure resets the the computer, or the Automatic Transmission Reset as it were. As I always scream to my car when this happens, "Try not. Do. Or do not. There is no try."
