My husband calls it the Pantie blog
Awww, come on Robyn, we'd still read your blog every day even if it didn't have a sweet pic of Gwen on the front page. OK. We would still read it, just maybe not EVERY day :-) *just kidding* BTW, nice jobs on the skins!

Dave is sooo right. Uggh.. Hype gets old after a while. I'm so surprised when colleagues of mine have never heard of XML-RPC. It's not right.

The big problem that I have with this BBC article ("Google hit by link bombers") is that it targets webloggers. What right do they have to insinuate that we "manipulate" search engine results? We use the web, which is more than I can say for spammers, advertisers and yellow journalists who parade around so self-importantly. Instead, we ply with the world with real human information. Thus, each time you use Google, it lets you know that. It's about relevance, stupid, not size. If you want a corporate search engine, go subscribe to AOL and leave us alone!

Well, the sport of Googlewhacking may now be forever altered since it has now been Slasdotted.

Object File System
Interesting. Once I sober up, I should read this more carefully. But, isnt' the phrase "Object File System" or OFS a oxymoron (or some such word like that) when used in context with SQL Server, a relational database server? Hmm..I think object databases are highly overlooked by the IT community. There is great power there (see Radio). But, I'm skeptical (as always) when it comes out of Microsoft's maw.

Interview with Gary Gygax
If you don't who he is, then you shouldn't read this. Nonetheless, it's worth saying that I haven't read it yet. Mostly, because I'm pissed both on alcohol and on the fact that this won't read in Opera. Come on guys. How hard is it to install more than one browser and test. Geez! It's not rocket science!

I just watched a DVD of Neon Genesis Evangelion, an anime about a young boy's quest for finding himself (I think). Of course, the whole thing is about him piloting this massive robot to save mankind. Is that suprising? It's Anime! Anyway, it was pretty cool. I kind of liked the music on the menus. It's sort of pop, but the Japanese made it kind of cool. So, the DVD I rented only had episodes 1-4. So, I thought, "Oh, this must be something that just didn't make it past episode 4". Not so. Just typiing Evangelion on a Gnutella network proves that assumption very wrong. Indeed, there were (as far as I can tell) at least 27 episodes. Very cool. The odds of me ever being able to rent all of them. Nil. However, I'm sure I can get a compilation off of AnimeFu or somewhere? More digging!
