Leshan's 231-foot Buddha
This is a really cool looking statue. I have actually never seen this before in school or news. It's enormous! You can get an idea of how big it is from National Geographic's Photo of the Day from March 18,2002 which is a close-up of one of the feet. Here is another photo of the full statue from a distance.

Alternative Fuel Vehicle Day Takes Place in Pennsylvania, USA; Ford shows off Fuel Cell Focus
It sounds like the Prius is getting more popular. And, the Civic hybrid has landed! Woohoo. This one looks more roomy than the Prius. It won't be long before you see a viable SUV hybrid (but why would you want such a tank?).
