There was also an article in the UT, Night and Day today "A duo of pianist Vijay Iyer and alto saxophonist Rudresh Mahanthappa, Raw Materials is a galvanizing unit that has honed a highly syncopated approach inspired by the complex rhythmic cycles of classical Indian music and the volatile improvisational flights of avant-garde jazz."
