AgileModeling.com: Project Stakeholder Rights and Responsibilities
"I believe that this concept is critical to the success of your project, that project stakeholders and developers each have a defined role and scope of influence. Because your project stakeholders are paying you to develop systems for them a good way to define those roles is from their point of view. In Software Requirements (1999) Karl Wiegers summarizes what he believes to be the rights and responsibilities of users, which I have modified below to extend to project stakeholders within the scope of AM."
This is very good. Something that might be adopted at the start of any project. Or even when a customer submits a request...kind of the start of a contracts between all of us.
