Apple, Dell employees buy different books. Infoworld writes about the purchasing differences of Apple and Dell employees at Amazon.com,, noting a disparity in the ... [Meerkat: An Open Wire Service]

Though not terribly "hilarious", the above post has a pretty funny punch line.  From the article:

"My tip here is not about the iMac as much as an insight into the people behind the scenes. A reader discovered an interesting coincidence at Amazon.com's Purchase Circles listings that collects data on books purchased by company domain names. Click on "Apple" for the books company employees are buying, and the top three are Making iMovies, Second Coming of Steve Jobs, and Mac OS X: The Complete Reference. Perhaps more amusing is Dell's top three: Direct from Dell: Strategies that Revolutionized an Industry, Cheap Psychological Tricks for Lovers, and Cheap Psychological Tricks: What to Do When Hard Work, Honesty, and Perseverance Fail. I think there's something in that for all of us."

Rather than spend the time working on design, I'd rather just get the ball rolling, and get the site out there.  So, without further ado - here's a generic template that looks way better than what I had.  Enjoy!

The old site is officially dead.  Dead as door-nails.

Well, now that all the underlying tech seems to be working correctly, I need to start busting creative ass.  Get the look and feel of the site complete.  I've been cruising around blogger.com, checking out other's stuff.  I have some ideas, I just need to find some time.

Radio UserLand for Webloggers. Robb and Scoble: Radio UserLand for Webloggers. ... [Meerkat: An Open Wire Service]

Radio Userland is what I use to publish to this website.

The picture at the bottom of this post explains the premise, I run Radio on my desktop, which interfaces with the Blogger API.  Blogger then publishes the post via FTP to LonelyLion.com.  It's also possible to post directly via Blogger's web interface, cellphone, or AOL chatbot.

This is some very cool technology.  I'm having a great time.
