Change of weblog location: new location: http://disco.ucsd.edu/blog
This is a big deal -- I can't watch espn's NHL highlights because Real has been slacking! Let's get out and tell them what's up! (and what *is* up with them not listing PowerPC processors?!)
Help bring RealPlayer to OS X. MacCentral points to a RealPlayer survey for future features online. If you would like to see an OS X version of the multimedia software from Real, fill out the survey and let them know that they need to get with the program. [Mac Net Journal]

I added some info about OmniObjectMeter on the cocoadev wiki, and I thought I'd plug them both here:

OmniObjectMeter is a great tool from the Omni Group for debugging the sometimes complex (but more elegant than malloc-free) retain count based memory management in cocoa/objC. It helps you identify leaks, and performance problems from overuse of large temporary objects.
(one of the best things is that they include a great walkthrough of finding these bugs in a sample app that really helps you get started.)

CocoaDev is one of the better of the many great resources for discussions about the cocoa frameworks, and it's a wiki, so it's really easy to contribute to! (almost as easy as lurking)
Here it is.
