Tuesday, May 21, 2002Hmm, maybe I'll comment on the new iBook. I want one - and it's only 100mhz faster than my current iBook. Why want one?
Because the video card is MUCH better - video performance is a big problem in mac os X, and the gap between me (600mhz iBook with ATI Rage 128) and people who have an agp 2x 32MB video card is only going to get more gaping once quartz extreme comes out, hardware accelerating absolutely everything.
so, I want one. Bummer.
