More BibDesk updates: the Typeset preview is now multi-threaded, since there were occasionally annoying times when it'd lock up the GUI.

The quick search is fast again. (It was automatically highlighting rows too often)

The preferences have been overhauled. (It uses OmniPreferences now, and so they look like Mail.app. Much nicer, but now I need more icons - oh, no!)

Next fall, Bill Griswold is giving a class in Wireless Applications. This sounds like some cool stuff, considering that his current project, ActiveCampus is very cool.

So, I'm thinking about how wireless discovery could change academic collaboration. The concept of being able to share info, references, comments, maybe even code - dynamically - with people near you might make meetings more productive. The key is simple setup and configuration...
