I just had an idea for the mac os X developer community.
There's a great mailing list searcher, http://cocoa.mamasam.com , which I use all the time, but there's no public source code search.
It would really be great if there were a web search site I could use to search through all the available public source code for mac os X in order to get examples of how to use the os X APIs...
Apple's source code is useful, but far from complete. There's lots more to learn!
I just emailed the macosx-dev list about this - let's see if anyone takes the challenge...
